Brief responsibilities:-
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the target market.
- Promote and sell air compressors and generators to both existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide timely market insights and report on competitor activities.
- Work closely with technical and service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry developments, and market trends.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment sales.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of air compressors and generators is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Must be based in, or have strong familiarity with, the Nairobi market.
