Digital Communications & Marketing Officer
Job Purpose:
- This position is responsible for the effective management of the KAM digital and social media communication space. The position curates, designs, develops and executes the KAM digital communication and marketing strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Content development and publishing for our social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to engage with our audience and drive member subscriptions and social media reach.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure engagement and impact
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, search engine optimization, etc.)
- Create and curate email newsletters to keep our audience informed
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement online advertising campaigns
Podcast Production:
- Create, edit, curate, and produce high-quality video content for our YouTube channels
- Develop and implement a strategy to grow our Podcast audience, reach, and increase video viewership.
- Collaborate with thought leaders, speakers, and experts to create engaging podcast content
Photography:
- Lead coverage of stakeholder engagements of the Association through high-quality photographs and publishing.
- Edit and caption photos to enhance their impact and engagement
Content Management:
- Develop and produce engaging and informative content (blog posts, social media posts, videos, etc.) to support our communications and marketing efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement campaign plans
Analytics and Reporting:
- Analyze and report on social media and digital marketing metrics to measure engagement and impact
- Provide data-driven insights to inform future digital marketing campaigns and strategies
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement digital communication campaigns
- Coordinate with communication teams from collaborating partners to coordinate joint digital publicity campaigns and impact reporting
- Managing third-party digital communication agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or journalism or digital marketing fields
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
Personal attributes and skills:
- Experience with podcast hosting and/or production is desired
- Experience in news or current affairs reporting is desirable
- Good community engagement relations
- Production and publishing of digital content
- Proactive communication
- Proper supplier management: digital publicity agencies
- Progressive growth in digital engagements
