  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the School’s strategic mission, led by the Superintendent.
  • Develop and implement the financial and operational strategies, policies, and plans that underpin the organisational objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of the campus master plan as finances allow.
  • Leadership and Management
  • Serve as a member of the Rosslyn Academy Executive Team.
  • Lead and inspire staff, bring out the best in them, and facilitate and encourage strong working relationships within the support staff and throughout the school.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports utilizing the Rosslyn Academy appraisal system.
  • Support the training and professional development of direct reports and the wider support staff.
  • Adhere to the standards of leadership as described in the Leadership domains of the
  • Rosslyn Academy Playbook.
  • Other: Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.

Person Specification

  • The successful candidate will bring the following qualifications, experience, skills and knowledge, leadership style, and values:

Qualifications And Experience

  • MBA or other degree providing a solid background in finance systems and practices.
  • Specific training in non-profit accounting methodologies as described in GAAP and ECFA publications
  • A professional or managerial qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong track record of successful executive leadership experience in a complex organization.
  • Direct experience of both strategy and operations, including finance.
  • Experience of working within a complex budgetary structure.
  • Proven experience of leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Project management, including delivery of capital projects.
  • Experience of working internationally and/or in a school would be an advantage.
