Human Resource, Training & Development Assistant

  • We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Human Resource, Training & Development Assistant who will primarily be responsible for supporting the Training and Development Department as well as the HR Function as assigned with the highest possible professional standards with Tamarind Management Limited policies, procedures and standards established to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to line management and HR team in creating, distributing and monitoring all phases of talent management such as succession management, benching, selection processes, and assessment and documentation required.
  • Update weekly trackers in line with HR and T&D
  • Marketing in- house training opportunities to staff and providing necessary information
  • Communicating with necessary departments on training needs and training opportunities available
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is in place in a timely manner, distributed to all relevant parties and that onboarding documentation is maintained and filed correctly
  • To set up and continually build a database of industry associations, providers, training institutions and professionals that can be used as external training resources.
  • Develop, manage and or maintain relationships with Internal / External customers/stakeholders/suppliers relating to Training and Development.
  • Conducting regular trainings including but not limited to induction training
  • Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organised and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
  • Dealing with staff grievances in a prompt, conscientious manner while paying attention to the company’s business needs and policies.
  • Preparation of employment contracts, confirmation and review letters in accordance with Employment Acts and Company policies and procedures and other statutory requirements.
  • Tracking and updating payroll enrolments, changes and liaising with the finance team to ensure all payroll calculations are made for implementation in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors’ Degree Human Resources option or equivalent field
  • At least 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR Policy, Procedures and guiding HR statutory regulations
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications
  • Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences
  • High integrity and maintaining confidentiality
