Job Summary

Our client, a well-established organization is seeking to recruit an business development officer with office administration experience to run the day-to-day operations of the organization in their branches outside Nairobi.

The ideal candidate should competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision, self-motivated and trustworthy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies;
• Market the organization and source for work within the assign area;
• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.);
• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures;
• Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data;
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary;
• Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned;
• Assist colleagues and clients whenever necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 2 years as a business development officer;
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
• Familiarity with office management procedures;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
• Experience working in a service industry will be an added advantage;
• Diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is an added advantage.
