Medical Laboratory Technologist III – 7 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Decontaminating working benches
- Receiving and scrutinizing laboratory requisition forms and specimens;
- Preparing clients for collection of specimens;
- Receiving, collecting, labelling and registering of specimens;
- Disaggregating specimen for processing and analysis;
- Preparing laboratory reagents;
- Examining specimens
- Writing and recording of results;
- Dispatching the results for use in clinical management;
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
- KCPE and KCSE Certificate
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or any equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board
- Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Technician and Technologist Board (KMLTTB)
- Valid practicing license from KMLTTB
- Two years and above experience working in a busy hospital (Attach evidence)
Method of Application
Remuneration: As per the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)
