Requirements and Skills

  • 4+ years proven experience selling software development services, IT consulting, or custom dev teams (not SaaS alone).
  • Demonstrated success in building pipeline from scratch and closing or influencing high-value service deals.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and ability to speak credibly with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Skilled in prospecting, objection handling, and multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, cold calls, email).
  • A self-starter who thrives on hitting targets and generating new business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and target ideal customer profiles (startups, scale-ups, enterprises) needing custom software development or team augmentation.
  • Prospect via cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) and leverage your existing network to generate meetings.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, uncover technical needs, and frame RTI’s value proposition.
  • Book meetings and product/service discovery calls for our senior leadership team.
  • Work closely with marketing and leadership to refine messaging, ICPs, and outreach strategies.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline health, reporting weekly on activity and conversion metrics.
