Job Description
An officer at this level shall:
- Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and work surfaces;
- Ensure that all laboratory areas are kept tidy and free from hazards;
- Assist in setting up and dismantling laboratory apparatus;
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and consumables;
- Assist Technicians and Researchers with routine tasks;
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements for Appointment
- Diploma in relevant field from a recognized institution with at least six (6) years relevant post-qualification work experience, OR Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant field from a recognized institution;
- Computer literacy;
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
- Fulfil requirements of Chapter Six of Constitution of Kenya 2010.
