About the Role

As our Inventory Operations Accountant, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our stock and assets, ensuring every item is accurately tracked, reconciled, and reported. You’ll be the link between finance, warehouse, procurement, and operations teams — driving clear, reliable inventory and asset records that support sound financial decisions.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-driven accountant who thrives in fast-paced environments like healthcare, FMCG, or supply chain. If you love digging into numbers, resolving variances, and ensuring tight controls, you’ll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly stock counts, reconciliations, and investigate variances.
  • Reconcile inventory records across systems (warehouse, EMR, Xero).
  • Monitor stock movement, COGS, and maintain clear audit trails.
  • Support month-end close, financial reporting, and audit schedules.
  • Maintain an accurate Fixed Assets Register and ensure timely updates.
  • Perform regular spot checks and audits to strengthen internal controls.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Lead by example in promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Experience & Personal Attributes.

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • CPA-K / ACCA and 3+ years in inventory/operations accounting.
  • Experience in FMCG, healthcare, or supply chain environment.
  • Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets, ERP systems, and BI tools.
  • Strong reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
  • High integrity, detail-oriented, and good communicator.
