Financial & Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Financial and Investment Analysis

  • Lead the design and development of advanced financial models for real estate, corporate, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Define and assess data requirements to ensure comprehensive risk identification and quantification.
  • Evaluate current and historical projects to extract KPIs and success factors; apply insights to future modeling.
  • Institutionalize model design frameworks and processes in collaboration with the Investments and Strategy Manager, embedding best practices across the organization.
  • Oversee preparation and analysis of performance reports, identifying trends and explaining variances.
  • Drive continuous improvements in budgeting, forecasting, operational planning, and financial modeling tools.
  • Manage all ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by leadership.
  • Design and implement business intelligence dashboards and standardized reporting templates.
  • Work with Development Management to evaluate and enhance project financial performance, improving IRRs and driving efficiency.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support executive decision-making.
  • Deliver detailed evaluations of project returns, cash flows, and sensitivities for senior management and department heads.
  • Stay current with international standards and best practices in modeling, valuation, and forecasting.
  • Conduct ongoing financial appraisals of real estate developments, business operations, corporate assets, and property portfolios.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to debt fundraising efforts through the preparation of funding applications and investment memoranda.
  • Assist in due diligence across the project lifecycle—including origination, funding, and asset disposal.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest or active progress toward a professional designation such as CFA, ICIFA, CPA, or CAIA is an added advantage.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting standards, financial statement analysis, and valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, comparable multiples).
  • Familiarity with financial reporting systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven, intellectually curious, and committed to continuous professional development in finance and investment analysis.
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience in finance, investment analysis, or financial modeling, including internships or academic projects.
  • Exposure to real estate, corporate finance, or investment banking environments is advantageous but not essential.
