Key Responsibilities
SAP Project Management
You will support SAP workstreams by building detailed plans, tracking resource needs and staying in sync with technology teams. You will help manage testing, conversion and deployment tasks. You will explain how SAP design choices affect downstream work and ensure these details reach the right teams.
PMO Coordination
You will work with the PMO to manage scope, schedule, risk and budget. You will use PMO tools to monitor progress and share updates. You will take part in requirements sessions, design meetings and project reviews. You will document decisions, track risks and follow up on open items.
Cross-Team Leadership
You will build strong relationships with IT teams, business teams and external partners. You will guide conversations, remove barriers and help teams stay focused on outcomes. You will support global stakeholders and understand how international teams work together. You will mentor team members and encourage strong project habits.
Process Improvement
You will help improve PMO practices by suggesting changes backed by experience. You will support consistent documentation and encourage use of standard tools. You will help raise awareness of effective project management and guide others in using PMO processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience and Background
You need seven to ten years of program or project management experience. You should understand SAP systems and workflows. Experience as a developer or technical contributor is helpful. You must have hands-on experience leading large technical projects from start to finish. You should be able to manage risks, track budgets and coordinate multi-threaded work.
Technical Knowledge
You need strong understanding of SDLC and change control. You should know how enterprise systems are implemented and how to track related tasks. Experience with SAP or enterprise SaaS systems is strongly preferred.
Communication and Leadership
You must be able to explain complex ideas in simple terms. You should ask strong questions, challenge assumptions when needed and support teams with practical guidance. You should be comfortable leading without direct authority and influencing teams in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Skills
Project management certifications such as CAPM or PMP are helpful. Experience with SAP deployment methodology is a strong plus. Change management experience is also valuable, especially when working with large global teams.
