About the Role
The Shipping & Logistics Clerk will oversee and support all shipping and transportation activities within JST Manufacturing. This includes preparing and packaging products, coordinating with carriers, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting in the organization of materials within the warehouse. The Shipping & Logistics Clerk is a key contributor to the company’s supply chain efficiency and overall operational success. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, capable of lifting and moving materials, and comfortable navigating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. This role also requires strong communication and data entry skills to ensure precise documentation and adherence to shipping procedures.
Responsibilities
- Package and prepare products for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Load transportation vehicles by stacking and securing materials to ensure safe transit.
- Pick up and deliver orders as required to meet operational timelines.
- Organize materials on pallets and move them to staging areas for efficient dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records through diligent data entry.
- Support building maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Assist with product transitions between departments as needed.

Qualifications

- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and general warehouse equipment.
- Basic math skills and the ability to interpret blueprints or shipping instructions.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.
