About the Role
The Program Development Specialist reports to the Senior Manager of Program Support for the High School Inbound J1 team. The role supports efforts to increase student placements by helping build and carry out outreach strategies. This includes studying school districts, identifying strong contacts and understanding key deadlines that affect placement success.
The specialist works closely with the Regional Placement Manager to map out where to focus efforts. The role includes creating new outreach ideas and guiding the team in testing them. It also involves helping Local Coordinators strengthen their placement work by giving them useful contacts and clear plans.
This position suits someone who likes problem solving and enjoys working with people from different backgrounds. Since CIEE works with partners around the globe, the role includes steady communication with different teams. The person in this role should be comfortable working alone and also joining group projects.
