About the Role

The Production Operator position supports the assembly and preparation of custom fiber optic components within a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled environment. Operators follow standard operating procedures, work with microscopes for detailed inspections, and support a workflow designed to meet daily productivity and quality requirements. Responsibilities

  • Assemble, prep, and package fiber optic components according to established procedures
  • Identify and troubleshoot process or product-related issues as they arise
  • Follow detailed drawings, work instructions, and SOPs with accuracy
  • Complete and maintain training checklist requirements
  • Meet daily shift goals related to production quantity and quality standards
  • Handle fiber materials safely, including measuring, cleaning, inspecting, and preparing components
  • Perform microscope-based inspections to ensure product integrity
  • Accurately complete paperwork and digital data entry associated with the assembly area
  • Comply with Molex and Polymicro quality management systems, including TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and environmental or safety policies
