Role Overview
The Preconstruction Coordinator plays a key role in supporting all preconstruction activities. You will work closely with estimators, division managers, market leaders, and the business development team to ensure proposals and bid packages are prepared and delivered efficiently. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for coordinating subcontractors, internal teams, and events.
Key Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate incoming Requests-for-Proposals (RFP) and Requests-for-Qualifications (RFQ) for the estimating team.

Distribute subcontractor solicitation for pricing using Building Connected.

Participate in weekly preconstruction and pursuit strategy meetings.

Prepare proposal packages using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office tools.

Provide administrative support, including office supply management, meeting coordination, and guest services.

Coordinate and attend local marketing events, tradeshows, and subcontractor/vendor conventions.

Collaborate with the marketing team to assist with event planning, invitations, and promotional materials.

Support other tasks as assigned to ensure the success of the preconstruction team.
Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher.

Minimum two years of experience in a corporate work environment.

Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva.

Strong communication and writing skills.

Willingness to learn new design software as needed.

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and dynamic personality.

Ability to travel to corporate events and other company offices.
