 About the Role

The Literacy Coordinator plays a central role in helping gifted K–2 learners achieve rapid literacy growth. Using adaptive software, structured literacy techniques, and motivational coaching, you will guide students through multiple years of reading progress in a compressed timeframe. This role requires an engaging instructional presence, comfort with technology, and a commitment to measurable results.  Responsibilities

  •  Create and facilitate phonics-based literacy workshops for small groups of gifted K–2 students
  •  Apply storytelling, voice modulation, and energetic coaching techniques to drive exceptional learning outcomes
  •  Monitor individual student progression and make real-time instructional adjustments based on performance data
  •  Deliver individualized and group coaching focused on measurable gains in reading, writing, and adaptive literacy applications

  •  Maintain a high standard of engagement, motivation, and student focus throughout sessions

 Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree plus advanced structured literacy certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)

  •  Experience working with gifted or advanced learners in specialized settings

  •  Must work on-site at GT School in Georgetown, Texas
  •  Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  •  Willingness to enter an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as the Contractor of Record
  •  Comfortable working full-time, long-term, and committed to continuous skill expansion
  •  Open to relocation if not already residing near Georgetown (assistance provided for qualified candidates)
