About the Role

The Instructional Designer II helps shape the training programs used across the organization. You create learning tools for both online and classroom settings. You design courses that follow clear learning goals and match the needs of members, clients and internal teams. You also take part in larger curriculum projects that involve subject experts and partners.

This role supports daily tasks as well as long term projects. You help plan training, develop course content, prepare materials and improve existing programs. You use the learning management system to develop and deliver training. You keep learning products up to date and aligned with standards. You also support process improvements that help the education department grow.

What You Will Do

You design training in several formats. This includes instructor led programs, online courses and blended learning. You write course outlines, design lessons and build learning activities.

You create instructional materials such as presentations, guides, workbooks and job aids. You develop multimedia content when needed. You make sure all materials support the learning goals and follow quality standards.

You lead curriculum projects. You coordinate with different contributors and guide the development of new programs. You work with subject matter experts to gather information. You help them refine content so that it becomes clear and easy for learners to understand.

You use the learning management system to publish courses, track participation and support user needs. You make sure content loads correctly and remains accessible.

You support continuous improvement. You review courses, collect feedback and make updates. You help improve internal processes within the education and training team.

What You Bring

You hold a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or a related field. You have at least three years of experience designing instructor led or e learning programs. You understand instructional design models like ADDIE.

You know how to use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia or Snagit. You understand how to build multimedia content. You also know how to work with LMS platforms and understand SCORM, TinCan and online learning best practices.

You communicate clearly in writing, visually and verbally. You are skilled in Microsoft Office applications. You manage projects well, stay organized and meet deadlines. You can work independently but also enjoy working with teams. You pay attention to details and think about how learning supports organizational goals.
