Main responsibilities

Develop and implement governance frameworks

You create policies, standards and procedures that shape how the organization manages work. You maintain these documents and keep them aligned with business needs. You help teams understand the rules and ensure that they are followed.

Monitor effectiveness and compliance

You check if the governance framework works as planned. You review how teams follow business rules and design standards. You identify where updates or corrective steps are needed. You confirm that work meets quality expectations.

Provide guidance and training

You help staff and leaders understand governance topics through clear explanations and training sessions. You make it easy for teams to apply the rules correctly in daily work.

Support risk management

You identify risks tied to governance gaps. You help assess their impact and design strategies to reduce them. You work with cross functional teams to ensure that risks are understood and managed.

Assist governance committees

You help prepare meeting materials and support committee sessions. You guide discussions, take notes and help track decisions. You ensure that decisions are implemented and followed.

Qualifications

Experience

You need three to five years of experience in a field related to governance, compliance or risk. Experience in the technology market intelligence or data industry is helpful.

Skills and knowledge

You should understand corporate governance principles and best practices. You must have experience creating or applying governance frameworks. You need strong communication and people skills. You must be able to explain complex topics in simple terms.

You also need strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems with clear thinking. A relevant professional qualification such as ICSA or a certification in risk or compliance is helpful.

You should be comfortable working with cross functional teams and supporting structured meetings. You need familiarity with project life cycles and basic project methods. You must know how to use process documentation tools such as Visio.
