About the role

The Customer Service Operations Specialist helps manage key parts of the service workflow. You support internal teams, distributors, and clinicians by making sure orders, reports, pricing, and account data stay accurate. You also help drive projects linked to SAP programs, system updates, and training efforts.

The role requires strong SAP skills, steady communication, and the ability to research and fix problems. You work from home during the required hours of nine thirty in the morning to six in the evening, Central Time.

Responsibilities explained

You manage purchase orders, returns, and invoices using the VA ROES portal. You act as the main contact for issues linked to the portal and ensure each case is handled quickly.

You analyze month-end reports to confirm shipping, billing, stock levels, and invoicing are correct. When a problem appears, you work with logistics, finance, and customer service teams to fix it and update customers on expected delivery times.

You create sales, pricing, and customer reports in SAP. You organize the data and share it with people who need it for planning or review. You keep product data up to date by filling all needed fields in SAP.

You support new SAP programs by testing features, building training notes, and helping staff learn the new steps. You guide each project through completion with help from your supervisor.

You improve relationships with distributors who work with the company. You provide EDI support, help with promotions, and share status reports. You also work with customer service teams to research issues, suggest solutions, and complete billing fixes.

You act as an SAP key user. You give direct support to IT teams for customer service projects. You review documents in OneNote each quarter with supervisors to keep procedures current. You write work instructions and standard processes.

You help sales and marketing teams run special promotions based on customer service input. You also support daily tasks in the department when needed, including pricing updates, discount changes, account notes, and consignment processing.

Qualifications explained

You need a bachelor’s degree or three to five years of proven experience in similar work. You need at least one year of project management background. You must communicate clearly in writing and in speech.
